Located in Dublin, California, Valley High School is the continuation high school for the Dublin Unified School District. As of the 2018–2019 school year, 72 students in grades 10–12 had a faculty of eight teachers. Its current Principal is Mario Hurtado. 

Mr. Hurtado began his teaching career at Duncan Russell Continuation High School, known today as the Stein High School in Tracy.  He was also teaching at Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights (East LA) only to start a few blocks away at Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet School. He was an effective teacher at Pleasanton Village High School, gaining praise for his contributions working closely with district students, teachers and administrators. He was named as the Teacher of the Year for PUSD in 2017 and was a Vice-Principal at Amador Valley High School before moving to Valley. His passion and knowledge of Valley and its students can only add to the success.  His priorities are to meet and build meaningful partnerships with the entire Valley community, both students and parents to improve and strengthen students ‘ learning experience while leading them toward lifelong success.

It has a student-teacher ratio of 9:1. Students coming to Valley are searching for an alternate route to college, technical career education or service in our armed forces.

Valley offers a comprehensive education curriculum with a wide range of talents, preferences, and needs for a variety of students.

Valley High School nurtures an environment of mutual respect and trust.  They provide a supportive, compassionate and creative learning atmosphere for the students.  Their standard-based training curriculum prepares students to meet academic, personal and career goals with success.

Today, Valley High School has been included in the list of 27 exemplary continuation high schools throughout the state. The proclamation said the school was praised for its services intended to support the students struggling to remain in school. Parents, teachers, and community leaders were expected to send written documents endorsing their school as part of the application process. Of the 35 schools which have applied for recognition, 33 have been accepted for site visits. A research team, including Valley High, toured the schools and recommended 27 for model school status. In order to retain the award, Valley High must hold its identity for three years and must request an annual guarantee in conformity with the model school guidelines. There are 53 Model Continuation High Schools overall in the state.
