Walt Disney Elementary School has a rich history of providing students with an excellent education, they serve the southeast portion of San Ramon. The school is a  PreK through 5th Grade public elementary school in the San Ramon Valley Unified District.

In 1974, Disney students were housed at Neil Armstrong School while awaiting completion of the new facility. The selection of Walt Disney as the school’s namesake is a perfect example of how important it can be for students to participate in choosing their future educational environment. The majority selected him from among many heroes and not just one particular person, which speaks volumes about what kind of role model they wanted at this new institution – especially considering his legacy was built on entertainment.

There are three Walt Disney Elementary schools in California. There’s one in California, two others being Anaheim (home of Disneyland) and Burbank (the studio for many famous movies).

Walt Disney Elementary is a place where everyone supports and encourages each child in maximizing their abilities. They are inclusive, which means they want all kids to feel encouraged no matter what the circumstances of your life might be like or if you’re just plain different than anyone else around.

The student population is made up of 49% female students and 51% male. The six percent economically disadvantaged population can be seen as well, with 21 equivalent full-time teachers to educate them all.
